How to Play

To play this game, you'll use your mouse to click on things and move them around. You'll click to grab ingredients, pour things into bowls, and decorate the cake!

Ingredients:
- 3 cups of whole candied cherries (those are cherries covered in sugary syrup!)
- 2 cups of raisins
- 6 cups of mixed candied fruit (that means different kinds of fruit covered in sugary syrup!)
- 6 cups of mixed nuts (make sure they're unsalted!)
- 6 cups of all-purpose flour
- 2 cups of vegetable oil
- 3 cups of brown sugar
- 8 egg yolks
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 4 teaspoons of salt
- 4 teaspoons of ground allspice
- 4 teaspoons of ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons of ground cloves
- 2 cups of orange juice
- Solid vegetable shortening (this is like butter, but it doesn't melt as easily)

Directions:

1. Turn on the oven and set it to 275 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Grab a cake pan and grease it with the vegetable shortening. This means rubbing it all over the inside of the pan.

3. Sprinkle flour all over the inside of the pan.

4. In a big bowl, mix together the candied cherries, raisins, mixed candied fruit, mixed nuts, and 2 cups of flour.

5. In another big bowl, mix together the vegetable oil, brown sugar, and egg yolks.

6. In a third big bowl, mix together 4 cups of flour, baking powder, salt, allspice, cinnamon, and cloves.

7. Add the spice mix and orange juice to the egg mixture a little bit at a time, mixing it well each time.

9. Pour the batter over the candied fruit mixture and mix it well.

10. Pour the batter into the greased cake pan.

11. Put the pan in the oven and bake it for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.

12. To check if it's done, poke the cake with a skewer or fork. If it comes out clean, it's ready!

13. Take the cake out of the oven and let it cool completely.

14. When it's cool, take the cake out of the pan.

15. Decorate the cake with extra candied fruit and nuts.
