Start with the basics!

The first step of the game is to decide what the layout of your dream house will be. To make it easier for you, there is a wide variety of ready-built mansions that you can decorate right away. Isn't that cool? 

Would you like to go for a twelve-room princess palace, an underwater condo, a beach residence, or a Parisian Chateau? The game provides a wide array of beautiful locations to place your house in. Some of them are incredibly exciting and exotic. Take a good look at all the available choices and see what appeals to you most!

It's time to make some changes in the layout so that everything is perfect. The most awesome part is that you can do anything you want with a simple click of the mouse. Press the button on the upper left corner of the screen to add new rooms, rearrange, or delete existing ones. How exciting!

Once you are satisfied with the layout, it's time to move on to decorating. You won't believe how easy it is to let your inner designer come out! Decide which room you want to start with and select it to get started. 

It's time for the fun part!

First, you need to navigate the menu on the right side of the screen and scroll through the different categories. Isn't it cool that you get to pick out furniture, accessories, wallpapers, and even some cute objects for young Chelsea? Use the scroll button to take a good look at all the objects in a specific category and pick out what fits best.

Next, it's time to arrange the objects inside the room. If you select an element, you can move it in front or behind existing objects, flip it, or even delete it. Play around until you find the perfect combination!  Pretty awesome, right?

The same goes for all the loveable characters you can place around your mansion. That's right, you can invite Barbie, Chelsea, Ken, and many of their friends to your new, fabulous home! Their position is also customizable, so the final scene looks more realistic.

Do you feel like there's still something missing? Sometimes even the fanciest house can be incomplete without a furry friend. Add an adorable puppy, a sophisticated kitty, or even a horse! 

Are you done? That looks great! What sets this game apart is the fact that you can save your beautiful creation at any time, or even add it to an in-game gallery. This allows you to revisit your favorite creations at any time, and also improve them if you wish.
