If you're a baseball fan, you can practice with Jimmy Neutron and his pals in the Backyard Smashball game! Besides, you'll get much more than a regular match, given that Jimmy and his pals will go up against some menacing aliens called the Yolkians. Therefore, this is bound to be an exciting and challenging confrontation. Stop being shy and join in!

The game consists of a baseball match where each team has three players. They'll all take turns pitching and swinging, and the team who scores the most home runs wins. It's like a regular game of backyard baseball, but with aliens!

How to Play

The first step of the game is to take on the role of the baseball coach. Can you decide on the pitching order? Pick between Jimmy, Goddard, and Carl!

Next, it's time to learn how to pitch or swing. Thankfully, both moves are pretty easy to master in this game. Whether you're throwing or hitting the ball, the first step is to pay attention to the meter in the lower left corner of the screen. You'll notice that there are two meters that control effect and speed.

The secret to a perfect swing or throw is to be fast and have good technique. To accomplish this, you'll need to make your move when the speed meter is at a maximum and the effect arrow points to the middle of the meter. Simply press the Space Bar or click the Left Mouse button at the right moment to throw or swing!

All the rules of regular baseball apply in this intergalactic backyard confrontation. It means a player's turn is up when they miss three times. After three failures, you must let the Yolkians throw while your team will be the one swinging. Luckily, the same rules still apply! Therefore, if your move has good power and precision, you'll manage to defend your base.

Watch out for the otherwordly update you can use! Upgrade your bat or ball two times each by pressing the red arrow before a pitch or a swing. If you use the alien powers wisely, you'll surely beat the invaders at this classical American sport!
