About Mission to Mars Game

Gather your courage and become an astronaut in the Mission to Mars game! Help Austin, Uniqua, and Pablo accomplish their mission, following the advice from the command center.

Tyrone and Tasha will give helpful hints to their pals and tell them how to fulfill their goal: finding the Boinga Crystals on Mars. It will be an adrenaline-raising journey! Do you think you're brave and skilled enough to help the Backyardigans?

The game consists of three stages, each using a unique vehicle - a Mars Rover. Strangely, your means of transportation will remind you of a loyal pet dog! Together, you'll travel on the surface of the red planet, in caves and a Martian City. Impressive! Hop on with Austin, Uniqua, and Pablo for an unforgettable adventure on a new planet!

How to Play

As you might already know, being an astronaut is one of the most demanding jobs in the world. However, you shouldn't worry! This game makes everything easier and much more fun.

All you have to do the drive the Rover is press the Left and Right Arrow keys. This way, you'll slow down or speed up the vehicle. Whenever you want to jump, just press the Space Bar. 

As you drive on Mars, you'll come across obstacles such as geysers and meteorite rain. Whenever you see them, stop and watch them carefully! If you time your moves correctly, you'll be able to move on without a scratch. If you mess up the timing, all the obstacles will slow you down!

This mission would be impossible to solve without the help of your three astronaut pals in the Rover. Each one of them boasts a gadget that makes roadblocks disappear:

- Uniqua will fill the holes in the ground with molecular bubbles.
- Pablo will make rocks vanish.
- Austin can control a robot to open gates.

All these tasks sound complicated, but they require just a few clicks or swipes. They're also a lot of fun to do!

What else you should know

At the end of each stage of the game, you'll have the chance to retrieve one of the Boinga Crystals. However, you'll have to put in a colored code. Tyrone and Tasha will tell you the correct combination of the red, blue, and green buttons. Follow their instructions carefully, and you'll soon have all three Boinga Crystals.

Put your fears aside and head out on a space expedition with your pals! The Backyardigans will help you become swifter, smarter, and more patient. If you want to become an astronaut, all these are good qualities. Therefore, Uniqua, Tasha, Tyrone, and the rest of the crew will help you come one step closer to your dream!
