About Julie Take a Shot | Groovy Hoops Game
Play the Julie Take a Shot game and prove that girls can become basketball champions too! Julie has always enjoyed playing basketball with her best friend, Ivy. She even made it onto the school's team. Now she needs to keep her spot in there and prove that not only boys can be good at this game!
Your goal in this game is to shoot as many hoops as possible before the time runs out! There might be some complicated shots, but you'll be able to collect bonuses and make your job easier! Play alone or with a friend and keep scoring to show your skills and talent!
How to play this game
First, you can select whether you want to play alone in the one-player mode or with someone else in the two-player one. If you choose to play with a friend, you will be able to play in a team or against each other! You can also pick which character you want to play: Julie or her best friend, Ivy!
You will only need your keyboard to play this game. Use the Left and Right keys to move around the place. Pick up the colored balls by pressing the Down key once you're directly in front of one. To shoot some hoops, press and hold the Up key. Release the button when there's enough power, and watch your ball go through the circle!
The pop-up window in the upper right corner will tell you how many shots you need to complete the level. The balls have multiple colors, so you might have to score hoops with each of them to clear the stage! Be as quick as possible and try to do it before the timer runs out! If you don't score before the end of the timer, it's game over.
Each successful shot is worth 100 points! You can unlock all kinds of bonuses if you score when the basket is flashing. Moreover, multiple power-ups will give you extra points. Some of them will offer you more time to take the shots you need or freeze moving hoops to make scoring easier!
