Ingredients:
- 8 button mushrooms
- 20 g of butter (for searing mushrooms)
- 1 tablespoon (Tbsp) of thyme, chopped
- Walnuts, chopped (amount not specified, usually a small handful)
- 1 pear, peeled and diced
- 4 g of blue cheese
- 50 g of butter at room temperature (for butter mix filling)
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons (Tbsp) of parsley, chopped
- 3 tablespoons (Tbsp) of bread crumbs
- 1 tablespoon (Tbsp) of Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper

Preparing and Searing Mushrooms:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Take a mushroom and remove its stalk. Then, use a teaspoon to scoop out and discard the inside of the mushroom cap. Repeat this for all 8 mushrooms.

2. Heat a large frying pan over medium to high heat. When hot, add the 20g of butter, then add the prepared mushrooms.

3. Turn the mushrooms over in the pan to coat them well in butter. Season with salt and pepper, add a little thyme, and turn them again.

4. Keep turning them until they are nicely seared (browned) all over. Just before taking them out of the pan, season the inside of the mushrooms with salt and pepper.

5. Transfer the seared mushrooms onto a tray when you finish.

Making the Fillings:

6. For the Blue Cheese Mix: Get a bowl. Add the blue cheese, diced pears, and chopped walnuts. Season with salt and pepper and mix thoroughly.

7. For the Butter Mix: In another bowl, combine the 50g butter (at room temperature), minced garlic, chopped parsley, bread crumbs, and Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper and mix well.

Stuffing and Baking:

8. Take your seared mushrooms. Fill four of them with the blue cheese mix.

9. Fill the remaining four mushrooms with the butter mix.

10. Place the stuffed mushrooms onto a baking tray (if not already there) and bake for 20 minutes in the preheated oven. Cook until the tops are lightly golden brown.

Serving:

11. Serve the stuffed mushrooms hot!
