About Land HO! Game
It's time for an 'all-you-can-eat' contest in the Land Ho game! What better way to celebrate Bikini Bottom city's days than with a massive party and a three-days worth of festivities? Everyone is invited to the event: Spongebob, Patrick, Sandy Cheeks, Plankton, and even Squidward.
No city party can go without a good old eating competition game! Your job is to help Spongebob win the quest and eat as many burgers as possible. You will have to switch between land and the ocean in your search for the yummy burgers, so make sure your reaction skills are excellent, and your focus is on point. Shall we begin?
How to Play
Fasten up, for the race begins! You can select your character at the beginning of the contest. You start off with Spongebob, but to unlock other characters like Sandy or Patrick, you will need to first collect some burgers.
Now, you can use the Spacebar to control Spongebob. You will see two sides of the screen, one standard dimension (the dry land), and the upside-down bottom of the ocean. We all know that our beloved sea sponge can't survive long on the shores. To switch between them, simply press the Spacebar button.
Your main objective is to collect and eat as many burgers as you can in one run. The path is not all so clear, though. You will encounter seaside castles, sunken ship anchors, and many other obstacles in your way. There is no way to avoid those, so you will have to switch grounds when you encounter them.
You should also know…
Look out for the interdimensional wormholes while on the run. These are sure ways of going back and forth between the two sides, giving you temporary immunity to the traps along the way.
There are no second chances in this game. You trip once, you lose. You can see your total distance and the number of burgers you've collected at the top of the page. Based on that, your final score will be calculated at the end. You can finish each run with up to five stars.
Now that you know how to play, go ahead and eat all the burgers you can! Once you've picked up enough of them, you can go to the Main Menu to unlock other characters.
