Grab your pencil and let your imagination run wild! Line Rider is a classic creative game that works more like a digital toy. There are no rules or enemies here - just a blank canvas and a boy on a sled named Bosh. Originally created by Boštjan Čadež in 2006, this game became an internet sensation by letting you draw your own world and watch Bosh ride through it.
Your mission is purely creative. There is no winning or losing in this game. Your goal is to design a track that is smooth enough for Bosh to ride without crashing, or to build crazy courses full of loops, jumps, and stunts!
To build the ultimate track, you need to learn how to use your tools and master gravity.
Controls
- Mouse: Click and drag to draw lines or select tools.
- Pencil Tool: Draw freehand lines for the track.
- Line Tool: Draw straight lines for smooth ramps.
- Eraser: Remove mistakes or unwanted lines.
- Play Button: Start the simulation to watch Bosh ride.
- Hand/Pan Tool: Moves the camera view around the canvas.
- Z/C: Zoom in or out.
The game uses real physics, which means Bosh reacts to gravity and friction just like in real life. If your lines are too steep or bumpy, he might fall off his sled! You have to experiment to see what works best.
To make your track exciting, you can use three different types of lines:
- Blue Lines (Normal): These are solid lines for Bosh to ride on. Use them to make the main path.
- Red Lines (Acceleration): These are speed boosters! If Bosh touches a red line, he will go much faster.
- Green Lines (Scenery): These are for decoration. Bosh passes right through them, so you can use them to draw background art like trees or mountains.
You can make your course as long or as complicated as you want. Try adding huge ramps for jumps, tight loops, or steep drops to see if Bosh can survive the ride!
