About One Trick Mage Game

Welcome to One Trick Mage, a fun puzzle-platformer game where you play as a mage with a very clever twist! Your hero is on a quest through a dangerous dungeon to rescue all of their friends. This game will challenge your brain with its unique magical mechanics.

Your mission is to guide the mage through a series of tricky levels to find all of your friends who are trapped in treasure chests. To do this, you'll need to use your wits to solve puzzles and your skills to navigate through dangerous environments.

How to Play

With a single trick up your sleeve, here's how you'll manage all your moves and magic:
- A/D or Left/Right arrow keys: Move left and right
- W or Up arrow key: Jump
- Spacebar: Use spell
- R: Restart the level

The main goal is to reach all the treasure chests in each level. The unique part of this game is that your mage can only use "one trick" at a time. Throughout the dungeon, you will find different colored potions. Each potion gives you a new, special ability, but as soon as you drink a new one, you lose your old power! You'll need to think ahead and plan which power you need to use for each part of the level.

There are three main powers you'll find:
- Double Jump: lets you jump much higher, so you can reach new platforms.
- Fireballs: can be used to destroy enemies and clear your path.
- Teleportation: allows you to instantly move a short distance, which is perfect for getting through walls or quickly dodging enemies.

What else you should know

Each level is a self-contained puzzle. You have to figure out the right order to drink the potions and use your spells to collect all the chests without getting hurt. If you fail, don't worry! There are no lives, so you can instantly restart the level and try again.
